I purchased a 2008 S550 , I live in Florida, and I see too many of them on the highway now. They are almost as common as a focus. I see this Maybach and I feel cheap. I bought my S550 in april. It is a lot like the maybach from extrior, but from interior the difference is night and day. I used to have an Infiniti M45 and Mercedes has superior interior, but tis Maybach is a big step up from S class!

My dad had an E class and I can confidently tell you that the head lights look like the E classes headlights are fused together. But when my dad let me try the E class it was very smooth it wasn't as exciting as I would've hoped for. But that was only a V6 engine I'm sure that this maybach has a much more powerfull engine.

That car has a 6.0L V12 bi-turbo engine, producing 604 bhp and 737 lb·ft of torque. Why wouldn't it do 0-60 in 4.9?

Because it weighs 6,000 pounds, that's why. 200hp/ton is not going to get you to 60 that fast, I'm sorry.
It's like when you buy a crappy Sony Xplod amp for $120, and they advertise it as 900 watts. In theory, it might be able to push that much if it were struck my lightning, but it's not at all realistic. Look up what every major car mag posted for 0-60 times, it's more in the mid-5s.

For everybody giving my comment a thumbs down, you can all kiss my butt. I used to work at a Maybach dealership. I've driven the S65 AMG many times, which uses the same engine. I repeat, the Maybach will NOT do 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Go ahead and try all day long, it won't happen.
